History
Back in autumn of 2009, when Rafail Kourmoulakis was a 1st year student of chemical engineering, adulterated vodka was served to him in a nightclub of Patras city. Only with half a drink, he experienced dizziness and blurred vision for four days, leading him to visit the University's Hospital of Patras, but it was too late for any treatment.
In spring of 2011, Rafail Kourmoulakis was a 2nd year student of chemical engineering, and an adulterated vodka was served to him in a bar of Patras city, almost leading him to fainting. He went out, inhaling air with deep breaths to tackle the darkness of his vision and evaded fainting at the last moment. Blurred vision and dizziness were experienced again, persisting for three days. The morning after the incident he began to search for any test that could help him check the drink before drinking, but no such product was available. At that moment, he decided to do something by exploiting the knowledge gathered during studying, but it was too early.
In 2014 severe financial difficulties caused him to interrupt his studies for a year and return to Athens. But in the autumn of 2015, he returned to Patras to finish his studies.
In spring of 2017, as a last semester student, with enough knowledge of advanced chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and programming, he began to develop the test using computer simulations, which were very accurate and got confirmed by experiments held at home. In October of 2017 he presented his diploma thesis based on lab research. In December of 2017 he graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Patras. Application to the Greek Patent Office had been made.
In December of 2017 he signed a contract with a Greek pharmaceutical industry, which had both manufacturing and merchant for the development of Cleardrink, aiming to exploit the product commercially. After successful experiments with real conditions, collaboration collapsed due to financial issues of the company that could not finance the prototype and would only participate in the project if the prototype was ready.
Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical industry had asked for an urgent pre-search report from the Greek Patent Office. The report was issued rapidly, proving the uniqueness of Cleardrink™ in the world. The same information was privately disclosed to Rafail Kourmoulakis by a foreign government.
In August 2018, story of Cleardrink™ went public, with all media in Greece focusing on the benefits of the test for the human and the economy, as a tool to protect the consumer's health and to spot tax evasion networks. The biggest newspapers, television and radio stations spent hours promoting Cleardrink and insisting on the importance of an investment, but no result came. In absolute numbers, worth of promoting this product was equivalent to spending millions of dollars for advertising it.

In September 2019 Patent was granted to the applicant Rafail Kourmoulakis with number GR1009603B.
In February 2023 he appeared on Greek Dragon's Den presented by ANT1, but no deal was made.

Rafail Kourmoulakis, chemical engineer is presenting Cleardrink
From 2017 and on, searching an investment is continuous. Cleardrink was made to address one of the world's important topics, which is death and blindness caused in several countries from adulterated drinks, often named as bootleg booze and moonshine alcohol.
Today Rafail Kourmoulakis is an entrepreneur, holding a sole proprietorship in the city of Thessaloniki and providing sales and engineering services to companies.
An investor who will finance the project in any country, or a sponsor who will donate capital is welcomed.
